           FISHING STATISTICS

Piplye, November 1st to 30th, 2022

At present we are only recording the numbers of fish stocked and caught.

A very disappointing end to the season. After the drought conditions throughout the summer, it was great

to have plenty of welcome rain to set the streams flowing again, top up the lakes and refresh the water,

but we really didn't want it all in one go! This unfortunately left the lakes all highly coloured for most of the

month and being sight feeders, it was hard to attract any fish in the murky water.

The high number of cormorants probably didn't help either, let's hope they were as unsuccessful as us in their fishing, but somehow we doubt it.
